A native of Thunder Bay, Canada, Ron Chepesiuk is a full-time freelance journalist, documentary film producer and radio host based in Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA, which is located just outside Charlotte, North Carolina. He has a B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) degree from Minnesota State University in Moorhead, Minnesota, a Masters degree in library science (M.L.S) from Atlanta Clark University and a post-graduate diploma in archival administration from the National University of Dublin in Ireland. Before freelancing full-time, he was a professor of library service for twenty-five years at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.  Currently, Ron teaches online courses in the journalism program of UCLA’s Extension Division.

In all, Ron has published 25 books and more than 4,000 original articles in FHM, USA Today, Black Enterprise, Woman’s World, Modern Maturity, The Rotarian, New York Times Syndicate, Toronto Star, Los Angeles Times Syndicate, Collier´s Encyclopedia, the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, the New York Daily NewsXổ số miền bắc trực tiếp and more than 400 other print publications.

Will Hryb

Born in Oberlahnstein Germany, William Hryb emigrated to Thunder Bay, Canada at a young age. Ukrainian by heritage, he is a freelance print and broadcast journalist, a member of the ‘Professional Writers Association of Canada’ (PWAC), ‘Superior Scribes’, a professional Thunder Bay writer’s guild. Hryb is a regular contributing writer to various trade magazines, periodicals and newspaper publications such as Canadian Sailings Transportation & Trade Logistics, Bayview, On The Level, Cruise Ship North America, and the Ukrainian Weekly. He also is the President and Managing Director of THUNDER BAY SHIPPING INC.

Before entering the shipping industry, he studied Communication Arts, majoring in broadcast journalism. After his studies in the early 1970’s he travelled extensively throughout South America as a freelance Journalist. Hryb has interviewed a wide range of political and business leaders in his career, including ‘The Right Honourable’ John Diefenbaker, the 13th prime minister of Canada.

He is the ‘Commercial Navigation’ representative (Public Information Advisory Group – PWAC) for Canada with the International Upper Great Lakes Study / IUGLS (International Joint Commission – IJC) a major bi-national Canadian and U.S. study examining water level issues on the Upper Great Lakes from 2007 to 2012.

He will have another book published later this year titled Vanished:The Life and Disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. Next year, Movers & Mavericks Volume ll will be coming out and later in 2014, he will co-author and publish a book describing the famous luxurious ship wreck, ‘Gunilda’ that sank in Lake Superior more than 100 years ago.
